Welcome! Poppy and Fern was started in 2010 to house all of Rachel's creations that she made with bits of brass, cameos and beads she found at junk shops and bead stores. It evolved when she found a vintage copper frame that was begging to have an anchor embroidered for it. She has been hand embroidering pieces of beauty ever since. “I love taking a lovely old process and making it new again. Every stitch I make reminds me of my grandmother that was so dear to me and encouraging of my creative passions. Each piece is free hand embroidered, so no two look exactly the same. I love that they are unique, just like the person wearing it. I hope that my line of hand embroidered pieces can help add some whimsy to your ensemble or walls.”
